The Wildwoods Convention Center is located on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey along side the famous Wildwood Boardwalk. The facility efficiently accommodates a broad range of event types & sizes, including major conventions & tradeshows, concerts & sports events, professional meetings, & banquets.

Program elements include a 72,000 square-foot exhibition hall, meeting rooms, flexible retail space, and a ballroom with sweeping views across a large terrace of the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. The main lobby entrance and retail spaces front the Boardwalk and a generous drop-off plaza on the west. Continuing the circulation path, a public pier on the south side runs along the length of the lobby and continues out to the water’s edge, and the east face of the main exhibition hall has a continuous glass wall facing out onto a wide deck overlooking the beach and ocean beyond. The exhibit hall roof is constructed of a membrane “tent” structure providing a sculptural roof profile visible for miles.

The detailing of the design captures the lively vacation spirit of Wildwood and employs materials that are both sympathetic with regional coastal buildings and evocative of seaside imagery. The resulting expanded facility is capable of housing virtually every type of activity while maximizing efficiency for the owner, event managers, and attendees.
