The N 148th ST Non-Motorized Bridge provides a vital new connection over I-5 to eventual light rail and bus rapid transit services. The new Sound Transit South Shoreline/148th Street Station will provide residents with a new mode of connecting to the greater Puget Sound region. LMN has been designing the multi-modal infrastructure to make this vision a reality.

The 300-foot span bridge is composed of side-by-side arches and supporting cables, creating space and light for people using the bridge and those traveling nearby. The bridge will be wide enough to accommodate pedestrians and bicyclists traveling in both directions and supports a variety of community goals that were derived through extensive outreach and engagement with local stakeholders.
