John’s ability to integrate the unique characteristics of each project with its local culture and traditions results in responsive, innovative design solutions. Originally from Vietnam, John earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Architecture from Yale University. He first joined LMN in 1993, and his LMN experience in the ensuing years was punctuated by periods of working with other firms in Hong Kong and Seattle.
A leader in LMN’s urban mixed-use and higher education market sectors, John ‘s approach creates environments where buildings and public spaces mutually support and activate each other and seeks opportunities for transformation in every project. Some of John’s representative projects include Vancouver Convention Centre West; Hines Expedia Tower; Summit Office Tower III; Anteater Learning Pavilion at the University of California, Irvine; Interdisciplinary Science & Engineering Building at the University of California, Irvine; 800 Columbia Residential Tower; and Redmond Tech Campus.
