With a background in interior design, Jenn Chen brings over a decade of experience in experiential and sustainable human-centered design. Across a varied portfolio including workplace, education, and civic projects, Jenn’s commitment to incorporating diverse perspectives into the design process has helped her uncover new creative solutions at various scales, igniting her curiosity for new design possibilities that serve both people and the planet. Jenn’s design vision is to imagine and build an inclusive future where all people, the built environment, and the natural world can thrive together. Jenn earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Bellevue College.

A leader in LMN’s commitment to sustainability, Jenn helps lead the firm’s Materials & Health Applied Research Team and a co-creator of its Path to Zero Carbon series, which is focused on prioritizing actions to reach zero carbon in the built environment. Some of Jenn’s representative projects include the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University, Hines Seattle Headquarters, and a 700,000-square-foot technology company campus, one of the firm’s largest workplace projects to date.
