LMN Presents in SAF Exhibit at the Center for Architecture & Design

01.21.16

LMN is excited to showcase model-building as part of the Seattle Architecture Foundation (SAF) 18th Annual Architectural Model Exhibit, running through Feb 5 at the Center for Architecture & Design at 1010 Western Ave. The theme of the exhibit is “Form,” interpreted in may ways by displays from more than 50 participants. LMN’s entry collects an array of 3D printed and CNC-routed study and presentation models, including a section of the Northgate Bicycle & Pedestrian Bridge (above). LMN’s modeling capabilities expanded in 2015 with the opening of the LMN Shop, an in-house digital fabrication workshop for making large-scale models, architectural component prototypes, and construction mockups for hands-on development with our clients and collaborators.

The Center for Architecture & Design is the new shared home for AIA Seattle, Seattle Architecture Foundation, Design in Public, and AIA Washington Council. The SAF Exhibit is the first event in this new space — we look forward to a rich dialogue to come!
