Principal

Brian has 32 years of experience working on complex, technical, and fast-track projects, including convention center, sports, and performing arts facilities. His extensive understanding of all phases, from programming and schematic design through construction administration, and his exceptional leadership skills result in consistent management and successful project delivery. Brian’s skills on the design team ensure that the owner’s program and functional layout are delivered in an effective and operationally efficient manner. Brian’s expertise in convention center planning and delivery has successfully helped guide clients through complex convention center projects from initial strategic planning through construction completion. Brian’s involvement in the convention center industry is extensive. He stays current on industry trends through participation with IAVM, PCMA, ASAE, and other industry conferences, while also sharing information with these groups through industry presentations and facilitating customer advisory groups and meeting planner workshops. Brian earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from North Carolina State University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington.

Some of Brian’s representative projects include the Vancouver Convention Centre West, Greater Columbus Convention Center Interior Renovation and Expansion, and the Cleveland Convention Center & Civic Core.
