On August 29, 2024, LMN attended the official opening of the Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion with the local community, King County Executive Dow Constantine, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, Governor Jay Inslee, and Dr. Sylvia Earle.

“If you were going to design a project to give us hope, inspiration and connection to our oceans that are so imperiled by climate change right now, it would be this aquarium, this Ocean Pavilion,” said Governor Jay Inslee.

Thousands of people joined together to officially cut the ribbon to the new space and celebrate its impact on Seattle and the world.
