“The American Institute of Architects Committee on Architecture for Education—a collective of more than 10,000 architects and allied professionals focused on designing innovative educational, recreational, and cultural centers—has bestowed its 2023 Education Facility Design Award upon 13 facilities located in the United States and Mexico. The annual program recognizes standout new construction, addition, and renovation projects that run the gamut of early childhood and K-12 environments, colleges and universities, museums, libraries, and community centers that enhance learning, incorporate sustainability practices, honor their surrounding communities, and balance form and function.”
