Seattle, Washington – October 28, 2026 – LMN is proud to announce the elevation of AP Amrhein to Director of Urban Design and to welcome Fiona Booth as Director of Interior Design. These appointments reflect the firm’s ongoing commitment to a culture of exploration, creativity, and cross-disciplinary collaboration across all scales and sectors of our practice. AP and Fiona embody LMN’s core belief in design excellence, connecting people to place, and creating an inclusive and equitable built environment.
“AP and Fiona each bring a rare combination of design vision, strategic thinking, technical rigor, and genuine commitment to our work and our collaborators,” said Julie Adams, Managing Partner. “We recognize not only the quality of their individual contributions, but also their ability to have meaningful impact on the future of our practice, while elevating the work of everyone around them.”
AP Amrhein, Director of Urban Design
AP Amrhein brings 15 years of dedicated experience to city infrastructure, planning, and design. As a planner, designer, and facilitator, AP has shaped places that are both transformative and inclusive. Her project work reflects a deep understanding of Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, with contributions to the Seattle Convention Center Campus Master Plan, the City of Seattle Ballard and U-District Subarea Plans, and the SR-520 Montlake Lid and Land Bridge. Within LMN, AP has led the strategic development of the firm’s Urban Systems Lab, which effectively bridges the gaps between design, systems thinking, and community engagement. She has also been deeply engaged in Seattle’s civic design dialogue, having served as Vice Chair and Urban Planning Commissioner on the Seattle Design Commission, as a member of the Seattle Public Art Advisory Committee, and designing processes and tools that empower communities to tell their stories more effectively through large-scale public art.
Fiona Booth, Director of Interior Design
Fiona Booth is a licensed architect and interior designer with nearly two decades of experience crafting integrated projects with heart. Her career is defined by a determination to blur the boundary between architecture and interior design, always prioritizing human connection and experience. Her project experience spans higher education facilities and workplace design for technology developers and biomedical research institutions, including Washington State University, Microsoft, and the Novartis Institutes. Joining LMN’s award winning Interiors team, Fiona will bring that sensibility and a particularly strategic focus, contributing to both project work and business development efforts.
Together, AP’s and Fiona’s leadership will further LMN’s commitment to cultivating an interdisciplinary practice where the design approach continues to evolve and the firm’s capacity to address complex, multifaceted design challenges continually expands.
