929 Office Tower in Bellevue Tops Out

06.05.15

Setting a precedent for the next generation of high-rises in downtown Bellevue, the 19-story, LEED Gold-targeted 929 Office Tower makes strong moves toward the city’s new vision as a walkable urban center. The design creates a street through the 600’x600’ “super block,” with retail space and an expansive ground-level Great Room spilling into the public realm. A distinctive LED “lantern” rises from the entrance to the skyline, signaling the project’s forward-looking vision – it is the first in Bellevue to meet the new state energy code, and among the first in the world to offer tenants interactive “smart” technologies such as individual control of lighting, elevator calls, and air conditioning through phone apps. The office floor design – featuring 9-foot ceilings – enables the penetration of daylight deep into the floor plate and emphasizes flexibility for the needs of tenants in the tech sector.   Please join us in welcoming the addition of a future classic to Bellevue’s urban core.
