The Octahedron wins a 2013 Seattle AIA Honor Award

The 2013 Seattle AIA Honor Awards took place on November 4th and the Octahedron made another appearance, this time in the lobby of Benaroya Hall.  The outer surface of the Octahedron was transformed into a white-chalked surface that was used for projection mapping a set of animations that dynamically patterned the surface.  In addition to that, the Octahedron and Cleveland Convention Center also managed to win a Seattle AIA Honor Awards, and ShoWare Center received an Honorable Mention.  It was a great night and we’ve already started scheming about what to do next.
