Promotion to Principal recognizes individuals who have developed the skills and experience to lead projects and key aspects of our practice. Principals demonstrate leadership in combination with a shared vision for firm success, as well as exceptional performance in key areas of practice—including design, management and project execution.
With a focus on context and sustainability, Brianna has been instrumental in the continued evolution of urban design as a core part of LMN’s integrated practice. As a certified planner with experience in urban infrastructure design, long-range visioning and community engagement, Brianna has guided a wide range of projects with a focus on creating active, civic-oriented places. Her recent projects include the City of Tacoma Pacific Avenue Redesign and the University District Pedestrian Bridge in Spokane. She is currently working on the SR 520 Montlake Lid and Land Bridge in Seattle, and was recently appointed by the Mayor to serve on the Seattle Design Commission. Brianna earned her Bachelor of Science in City and Regional Planning, with a Minor in Sustainable Environments, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Jessica’s work successfully bridges design and project management, navigating complex urban and social environments at every scale. Her projects range from education buildings at the University of California and Washington State University to station designs for Sound Transit East Link. She is currently serving in a key role for the Washington State Convention Center Addition. Jessica’s commitment to design extends beyond her work at LMN through community engagement and teaching. As a part time lecturer at the University of Washington, she cultivates design process and the collaborative power of BIM. Jessica earned her Master of Architecture with a specialty in Preservation, Planning, and Design from the University of Washington and her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Miami University in Ohio.

During his 20 years with LMN, Todd has consistently demonstrated excellence and dedication in the execution and delivery of some of the firm’s most notable projects. His deep technical knowledge of building systems and the construction process, combined with his collaborative approach, are critical to the success of LMN’s work. Todd was a key project lead on the widely recognized Sound Transit North Link University Station, which opened last year. Other key projects include the Seattle University Lee Center for the Arts, Marion Oliver McCaw Hall and the 8th & Howell Hotel Tower in downtown Seattle. He is currently overseeing Construction Administration on the Carver Hall Renovations at Western Washington University. Todd earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Washington State University.

Missy is an interior designer who exemplifies the integrated design approach that defines LMN’s work. She brings an unrelenting passion for compelling design along with a unique ability to earn the trust and respect of her clients. Collaboration and her ability to connect with people are among her strongest assets. Missy’s projects include the Computer Science & Engineering Building (CSE2) at the University of Washington and the 8th & Howell Hotel Tower, currently under construction in downtown Seattle. Missy holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a Bachelor of Science in Housing Studies, both from Oregon State University.

With experience across a diverse range of project types, Chris combines deep technical knowledge with a design sense that links architecture within the context of landscape and urban design. Chris has played a key role on several LMN projects, including the Greater Columbus Convention Center Expansion and Seattle Academy of Arts and Science. He is currently working on the Health Sciences Building at Central Washington University. Chris earned his Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and his Bachelor of Architecture from the Mississippi State University School of Architecture.

Cameron has demonstrated exceptional design skills across a wide range of public and private projects. A strong collaborator, he approaches his work with a broad focus and powerful jolt of enthusiasm. With a deep understanding of early design opportunities and a sensitivity towards construction and budget realities, Cameron pushes projects to realize their maximum potential. He has worked on some of LMN’s most notable projects, including the Greater Columbus Convention Center Expansion and the Washington State Convention Center Addition and Co-development. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from the University of Washington.
Vanessa brings an inquisitive, energetic approach that fosters highly effective team collaboration. She has demonstrated a unique ability to research new typologies and develop critical design analysis, which has been a valuable asset to the diversity of LMN’s work. Vanessa’s projects include the 800 Columbia Residential Tower in Seattle and a new Active Learning Classroom and Office Building for the University of California, Irvine. She also played a key role in the pursuit of the Seattle Aquarium Expansion, which was recently awarded to LMN. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, both from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Erik has played a pivotal role in the execution of some of LMN’s most complicated projects. His commitment to design vision and technical rigor have made him an essential part of the firm’s success, enhancing the spatial quality of projects such as the Conrad Prebys Music Center at University of California, San Diego, Tobin Center for the Arts in San Antonio, Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, and the Sound Transit North Link University Station. He recently completed the Voxman Music Building at the University of Iowa. Erik holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies, both from the University of Washington.
Aya is an interior designer with a unique ability to frame design challenges in a way that helps advance her projects. Her thoughtful and rigorous design approach is not constrained by the traditional boundaries between interior and exterior, thereby blurring the lines to achieve integrated design solutions. Aya worked on the Greater Columbus Convention Center Expansion and is currently leading the interiors team on the Washington State Convention Center Addition. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture and Minor in Architecture from the University of Oregon.

Jennifer is a thoughtful designer with a broad range of architectural experience, including high rise residential and civic work. She has a great ability to collaborate and provide direction to her team, earning the respect of others through constructive engagement around shared design principles. Jennifer has been a strong contributor to the Asian Art Museum Renovation and Expansion, and played a key role in the pursuit of the Seattle Aquarium Expansion, which was recently awarded to LMN. Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University.
Mark is a skilled team leader and collaborator, committed to an equitable, ecological, urban future that incorporates a broader set of influences and perspectives. His balanced approach to design, budget and project performance has led to thoughtful and sustainably minded design solutions for a number of LMN’s most complex projects, including two Design-Build projects for the University of California, Irvine. Current projects include a 1,000 foot high tower at 4th and Columbia in downtown Seattle. Mark earned his Master in Architecture from Yale University and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Brown University.
