Seattle Streetcar Visualization Study
Seattle’s modern streetcar has given people a new transportation choice for traveling between the downtown, Denny Triangle and South Lake Union areas. LMN is assisting the City in an effort to expand the streetcar system to serve other neighborhoods.
The design team is studying concepts of the streetcar fully integrated into the street right-of-way and surrounding infrastructure, as well as advising on land uses and development scenarios at possible locations for expansion within the city.
The network visualization study also addresses the streetcar’s connection with other public transit systems such as Metro bus lines, light rail, and the Washington State Ferries system.
