Fleet Recreation Complex
The design of the Fleet Recreation Center, located north of the Everett Naval Base’s central plaza, provides recreation and “life” services for officers and enlisted personnel, maximizing efficiency and cost effectiveness through shared building circulation, engineering systems and support functions.
The design engages the base master plan and weaves the active social uses of the facility with the overall life of the campus. The primary public circulation spine links the main entry—aligned with the central axis of the campus—to administration offices, food court and cocktail lounge. A secondary circulation path joins the gymnasium, locker rooms, and racquetball court.
