Comcast Arena at Everett
Home of the Everett Silvertips
Located on a constrained site in the heart of downtown Everett, the building’s distinctive suspended roof structure creates a civic landmark, visible from a distance, while its edges engage pedestrian activity as an integrated part of its urban presence.
The functional organization of the building is carefully coordinated to take full advantage of its steeply sloped site, maximizing the opportunities for grade level access while reducing the overall mass in response to the scale of historic buildings within its immediate context.
Program elements include an 8,000-seat hockey arena with club seating, suites, state-of-the-art support facilities and public amenities. Multi-use functionality provides configuration for a 10,000-seat concert, a separate community-oriented ice sheet with spectator support areas, meeting space, museum display and street-front retail space.
