Crowley Marine Services Office Building
A new workplace design reinforces Crowley Marine’s maritime services identity by successfully relocating and consolidating the company’s corporate headquarters with its marine services operations, occupying one renovated building and one new building nestled in the hub of shipping commerce on Harbor Island.
The generous, open office work environment supports and nourishes the transition in corporate culture from traditional private office organization to a team-based approach. Offices, where they occur, are highly transparent and provide views of Seattle and exposure to daylight from the open office area.
The material palette and workplace furniture join contemporary design with an industrial aesthetic. Display models of the Crowley fleet, an interior color palette that reinforces the corporate brand and views of the tugboats docked outside help connect the office environment to the history, identity and operations of the company.
