Campus Master Plan Update

LMN’s master plan for the Everett Community College guides future campus growth, helping the college meet the challenges presented by increasing demand for higher education in Everett and the surrounding region.

Through recent property acquisitions, the college is expecting to double the size of its 24-acre campus. LMN provided guidance for a multi-phased expansion to replace inadequate buildings and to add new ones. Design considerations included accommodating projected student FTE growth, integrating transit, traffic and parking, and planning for long term projected costs.

LMN coordinated the campus planning with our concurrent urban design assignment on Everett’s Broadway retail corridor to design an appropriate interface between the campus and the surrounding city. The master plan provides the college with a solid framework for moving forward with their ambitious plans for growth.
