Headquarters Office Building

The iconic character of this headquarters building permeates the building’s interior, where architectural expression is interwoven with progressive workplace design.

Responding to the client’s imperative to improve how work teams serve their international customers, the design creates an interior organization and experience that embellishes the company’s core cultural identity of aerospace design innovation while fostering teamwork and collaboration.

The experience begins in the entrance lobby, where a 4-story, curved steel-rigged glass wall creates a dramatic corporate presence and sense of place. A sculptural staircase rises from the lobby floor to connect all five workspace floors and a roof-top terrace, providing a central gathering area and enhancing opportunities for chance encounters between work groups. The floor plan is fluid and open, with a generous number of strategically located teaming areas and conference rooms. Work spaces provide a careful balance between individual privacy and social connectivity, with highly flexible infrastructure and furniture systems to adapt to changing needs over time.
