90th Street Bridge

A dramatic departure from conventionally engineered bridge design, Redmond’s 90th Street Bridge turns urban infrastructure into a public asset.

The design celebrates sense of movement and emphasizes the bridge as a gateway to the city. Its distinctive tilted arches and piers can be seen from afar, reinforcing the character and scale of Redmond’s built environment and natural setting.

On a secondary level, lighter steel structures are supported off the main structure on each side, providing pedestrian walkways which connect to the river and the trail system below. The landscape, artwork, lighting and open steel structure sensitively preserve the existing natural setting.
